Singleron Biotechnologies is an innovative molecular diagnostic company dedicated to applying groundbreaking single cell analysis techniques to clinical diagnosis, drug development, and health management. The company was incorporated in January 2018 and currently has offices and laboratories in Germany, US, and China.

Singleron’s EU branch is seeking motivated and ambitious talent in the field of single cell and next generation sequencing, diagnostics, and bioinformatics.

 

Technical Sales Specialist (M/F/D) - Single Cell Sequencing (Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany)

 

With the rapidly expanding business, we are looking for multiple Technical Sales Specialists to drive and grow sales within the clinical research field (Universities, Hospitals, Clinical Research Organizations, Pharma, Biotech and similar). The candidates will be located in Germany.

 

The key responsibilities include:

  • Build, develop and maintain multi-level contacts within selected territories;
  • Meet and exceed sales target by actively driving the sales of the company’s single-cell products and services
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospects, and use various networks to build contacts, attending conferences and workshops to build network
  • Effectively identify and interpret customer’s requirements, provide scientific and technical consultation to customers on Singleron’s SCOPE single cell technologies, maintain and support the full customer journey of our products and services
  • Negotiate and close deals and support all procurement processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with key opinion leaders in the field
  • Work closely with application scientist and project manager to ensure successful delivery of service results

 

Position Requirements:

  • Strong molecular biology or medical background – Master degree minimum, PhD preferred
  • In-depth knowledge in relevant areas, such as single-cell sequencing, oncology immunology, genomics, next generation sequencing
  • Sales or customer service experience in Life Science as a plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Passionate to offer professional help and consultation to customers, effective communication to customers and internally
  • Proficiency in local language for the territory a plus
  • Based in assigned territory; willingness to travel up to 60%, mostly within responsible territory.

Account Manager (M/F/D) (Based in DACH, preference Bavaria) - Single Cell Sequencing

 

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this account management role, you will proactively engage with new and existing customers to develop relationships and increase revenue.  As an Account Manager you will predominantly interact with larger accounts with an emphasis on translational, clinical and biopharma customers generating additional revenue for Singleron.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Independent, self-motivating, with enthusiasm, high energy, maturity, and ability to work toward deadlines and deliver results. Strong personal management skills including time management, workload prioritization, responsiveness, multi-tasking and flexibility.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment. A team player who will relate well to colleagues and will seize the opportunity to develop good relationships with them. Receptive to the ideas of others.
  • Strong molecular biology or medical background – Master degree minimum, PhD preferred

 

Your Experience

  • Several years of experience in account management/ sales support/ project management in the life science industry.
  • High level of understanding of the technologies used for genome analysis in pre-clinical discovery and of the translational medicine activities between discovery and clinical use; in academia and in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in proposal generation/ quotation. Preferably understanding of commercial contracts.
  • Preferably an understanding of how large pharma/ biotech companies work – understanding processes they have.
  • Capability to build networks within (bio-pharma) companies and leading academic centers in Europe and the US

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage (Project Manage) internal processes for taking opportunity from initial conception to contracts agreed
  • Maintain contact with customers to further understands their needs after initial meetings
  • Work with legal partner to ensure contracts are agreeable and beneficial for Singleron
  • Support/ lead proposal & quote generation
  • Identify and pursue appropriate stakeholders and business opportunities for select existing accounts primed for expansion
  • Support reaching assigned annual sales targets and goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with key opinion leaders in the field
  • Engagement in partnering activities with pharmaceutical companies and leading academic institutions
  • Coordinate project planning and execution in close collaboration with internal and client R&D teams.
  • Close alignment with R&D as well as marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop contacts, serve as key account manager where required
