In this seminar, we will introduce single cell sequencing approaches tailored for plant research:

  • GEXSCOPE scRNA-seq: Resolves cellular heterogeneity in plant tissues and their responses to environmental stimuli and pathogen interactions
  • FocuSCOPE targeted scRNA-seq: Enables simultaneous detection of plant gene expression and associated pathogens (e.g., bacteria and viruses lacking poly(A)-tailed transcripts), allowing direct study of host–pathogen relationships at single cell resolution
