Tensor only takes cell suspension as input. Samples from tissues need to undergo dissociation beforehand. We recommend a cell viability of at least 70%

 

No, reusing the chips is not an option. Please always use new chips for your single cells experiments to avoid cross-contamination and ensure best quality of processing and results. 

 

Tensor is designed to be operated by life science lab personnel with minimum robotics knowledge, as the program is very intuitive. The operator would be required to have expertise in tissue preparation only.  

 

The kits are designed to be used in increments of 8 samples per run. While smaple size can be freely choosen, running multiple rounds of small (<4) sample sizes are not recommended, as it might lead to exhaustion of reagents.

Tensor comes with established maintenance programs, both for daily (~min) and weekly
