Singleron’s technology used in Wuhan to help fight against COVID-19 22.03.20202’Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in January 2020, thousands of medical staff voluntarily moved to Wuhan, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in central China, to fight the virus and protect the health of citizens at the risk of their own lives.Huoshenshan Hospital, a 1,000-bed facility built in 10 days as part of China’s sweeping efforts to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 , is staffed by medical personnel coming from outside of Wuhan and acts as the treatment center for infected patients with the most severe complications. The Clinical Laboratory at Huoshenshan Hospital has been testing about 200 patient samples every day to provide timely information for COVID-19 disease control and better patient management at the hospital and also in the city of Wuhan.Singleron’s single-cell sequencing product, the GEXSCOPE® Single Cell RNAseq Kit, has been used by researchers in different regions in China to study various aspects of the disease mechanisms and progression. We are greatly honored to deliver the first batch of the GEXSCOPE® kits to Huoshenshan Hospital on the 20th of March.Dr. Xinyi Xia, Director of Clinical Laboratory at Huoshenshan Hospital, said: “The situation in Wuhan has been improving significantly. While we continue to follow strict diagnostic and treatment procedures from the National Health Commission at our hospital, we are also starting to use new technologies to gain deeper insights into the disease. GEXSCOPE® Single Cell RNAseq kit can comprehensively and accurately analyze patient samples at single-cell resolution to generate valuable data that can be used in the future for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. GEXSCOPE® Single Cell RNAseq kit has a portable microchip format that does not require dedicated instruments to process single cells, making it a very practical solution for field hospitals and in emergency.”Employees at Singleron are eager to contribute to fight the COVID-19 pandemic with our technological innovations.Singleron production staff continues its services during the pandemic to provide our products to our heroes at Huoshenshan Hospital.Final Checking and Packaging.Ready to go!All the way to Wuhan!Together, let’s defeat the pandemic!——All employees of SingleronCheck out our latest news and events Learn more 24.09.11 Singleron Launches New All-in-One sCelLiVE® Tissue Dissociation Kit for Skin Cologne, 11th September 2024 – Singleron announced the launch of sCelLiVE® Tissue Dissociation Kit (Skin) (sCelLiVE Skin), a new all-in-one solution for human and mouse skin tissue….
